Straight-Up Cafe and Community Center

We’ve talked about the Worcester Youth Center project for months. It’s finally underway! Straight Ahead Ministries and Mission E4 both have staff working diligently to build out the new space located at 795 Main St in Worcester. The street level will be a fully functioning coffee shop with a stage for live music. This amazing location for effective inner-city outreach will be open in April 2012.

Mission E4 DELTA Force and Straight Ahead Ministries offices are both operating out of the second floor of this center. Included in the second floor plan is a training room that can hold up to 50 people. We are holding many different types of training out of this space. Some of the specific training includes:

•    GED Classes
•    English as a Second Language
•    Business Development
•    Discipleship
•    Youth Ministry Training

This location has become the base of operations for all the work DELTA Force is doing in Massachusetts. This facility will allow us to more effectively assist the local church in reaching the youth of this generation. Mission E4 has already put $20,000 into the project and is committed to raising $3000 per month, and an additional $50,000 per year for the next five years.
