Going to Haiti tomorrow for 2 weeks, Please pray for me! I am also meeting ana p. today.

My oldest daughter Kelleigh is about to have a baby. They are at the hospital with Grandma and Kelleigh's husband Brian. Thanks for your prayers.

Still processing the amazing 10/11 trip to Haiti...so many thoughts running through my head...so many things to see differently upon coming back...somewhere inside my heart is a deep longing to go back...

Here's a question I'm struggling through right now and maybe some would like to share your thoughts. How has your recent trip to Haiti changed your personal walk with the Lord?

My desire and prayer for you is that your life have a radical flavor. A risk-taking flavor. A gutsy, counter-cultural, flavor to it that makes the average, prosperous, Americans in your church feel uncomfortable. A pervasive summons to something more and something hazardous and something wonderful. A saltiness and brightness, something like the life of Jesus.

Awesome trip to Haiti these past two weeks. The team did an amazing job - lots of accomplished, hearts touched, lives changed - and I look forward to seeing the ways they use their experience to be a voice for the people of Haiti!

Back to work! Crazy and busy day

Just watched a very interesting movie called "the Star of Bethlehem" It is a search for the truth surrounding the biblical event of the stars appearance & explanation. I would describe it as a blend of biblical study, science, & astrology. Definately worth checking out & sharing with skeptics.
